More idiots from my mailbag…

I know you’re all waiting for #10 on the list but I haven’t received all the information I need yet. In the meantime, here’s more evidence that we need some kind of license and test to ensure you’re not a total moron before you are allowed to own horses and certainly before you are allowed to breed horses!

Texas Redneck Style Horse Moving

Pretty sure they killed a horse in “The Man From Snowy River” doing this.

Sometimes prepotence is a bad, bad thing. The thought that he passes on his conformation scares the heck out of me! Proving that they really think this is what stallion quality looks like, here is their other stallion.

Look, this horse is all ready for that new show class – Doormat Pleasure!

This is why you should take away the Nintendo and make your kids go out and, you know, play some fucking baseball or something…SERIOUSLY, who MADE that horrible game???

More to come later including a Champ update!

      Sure.

I can show him free horses all over the Pacific Northwest. He is welcome to contact me for a tour of free horses.
I can show him horses that were found loose on the streets of Sylmar – he can see them at the LA City shelter in Mission Hills.
I don’t think any of this is due to any alleged end to slaughter (which didn’t happen)…I think it’s 100% due to the crap economy and people being out of work.

That game would be ‘Gun’. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_(video_game)) Came out in 2005. I remember being excited about it’s release, I even had it on reserve at the Gamestop I used to work at. I’m a sap for games with horses in them! :)

It’s actually a pretty fun game, (provided you’re a gamer to begin with). Open world, various different side missions, quests, etc, enough to keep one involved. Being a western, with an extensive open environment, horses are the primary means of transportation.

Yes, you can shoot them. I don’t. Still, the option is there, just as you can shoot wolves, buffalo, birds, anything else that moves in that game, including humans. In light of all that, it wouldn’t make sense to have the horses be immortal.

That’s not really out of the ordinary though. Just about any T+ rated that implements horses as mounts allows them to die – be it from combat with an enemy, riding it off a cliff, or killing it yourself. Regarding the latter, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it encouraged within a game. The option is there, but there’s not much point to it.

Anyways, just I wanted to elaborate some on the game in question since the clip by itself is out of context. The game isn’t about killing horses, and even though it allows it, it’s not really a ‘part’ of the game unless the player chooses to make it so.

Heh, yeah, I realize this is an old post I’m responding to. I couldn’t resist. :)
