Fugly does not just happen!
Jun 22 2007
Observe mare.
Observe foal.
I don’t know what the daddy looked like, but there’s no stud on earth whose semen is magical enough to overcome the head, neck and shoulder on that mare. And those are just the parts I can see.
Breeding is a science. It is not some big crap shoot. Sure, there are variables but, as with most things, the garbage in = garbage out principle applies.
Please stop. Please.

Keep up the good fight!!!
LMAO!! Quarter Horse??? Yeah ummm… she is OBVIOUSLY a very well bred and “hitchy” Percheron. She has a baroque Perch head, and an upright shoulder to accomodate the collar she would wear when hitched to a wagon or farm impliments.
The mare does look a bit fine boned, but this happens with the Perchs sometimes. But, bred to a really good stud, she will produce babies that are conformationally correct for the use in which they were intended.
And NO! They are NOT sport horses or jumping horses… they are bred conformationally for pulling things!
Chromecowgirl, This mare is reported to be a registered paint breeding stock. Sorry she may look draft but she is supposed to be a stock horse and htat is a paint breeding stock baby.
